Rickie Eugene Kinney
(March 30, 1952 - April 14, 2019)

Rickie Eugene Kinney passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at home in Indianola, Iowa at the age of 67. Rickie was born on March 30, 1952 to Jimmie and Delores Kinney in Park Rapids, Minnesota.
Rickie was a fan of Kings Corner, the card game, even though he may have cheated a time or two. He was also a huge fan of WWF. He would watch WWE but WWF was the real deal and John Cena was his favorite wrestler. He had a passion for driving truck and always talked of all the places he had been and things he had seen. He called his granddaughter “Dennis the Mennis” which was rightfully earned. He had a love for making people laugh and joking about most anything. Most of all he loved his children and grandchildren they were his world.
“A leopard can change his spots and Rickie was living proof of that.”
He is survived by his children, Heather (Justin) McCown of Fairbury, NE, Malissa (Michael) Ladwig of Fairbury, NE, and Josh (Marie) Kinney of Azel, TX; favorite niece, Heather (Jason), Matt and “Kenzie girl” Glenn of Indianola; grandchildren, Raistlin Skye, Bry, Ethan and Ashton McCown, Cassandra “Dennis the Mennis” and Alexandra Ladwig, Taisha, Ian, and Owen Kinney; siblings, Deb Schlegel of Indianola, Christy (Jerry) Davis of Roseland, NE, and Michele (John Craft) Kinney of Lincoln, NE; aunt, Patty (Uncle Wormy) Babcock of Cocoa, FL; and many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and many, many new friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Jimmie and Delores Kinney and siblings, Raymond and KayKay.
