Funeral services for Richard L. Wood SR., age 68, who passed away December 25, 2008 at Mercy Hospice will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at Peterson Funeral Home in Carlisle.

Visitation with family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Carlisle City Cemetery.

Surviving Richard are his wife Linda Wood of Carlisle, his mother Winifred Hyatt of Knoxville, son Richard Sr. (typed as written, should be Jr.?) of Des Moines, two daughters - Teresa Wood of Des Moines and Sandy Hainline of Carlisle, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a sister Beverly Jones of Knoxville. ~ The Des Moines (IA) Register Sat 27 Dec 2008.
