John Burkett, for many years a citizen of Indianola, died last week at Lake View [Sac County, IA], this State, of a disease of the kidneys occasioned by la grippe. The body was brought here Friday morning for interment. The funeral occurred from the house of Willet Carpenter and was under the auspices of the I.O.O.F.
