(January 18, 1950 - May 29, 2015)

Darell Lee Bowlin age, 65, passed from this life early Fri day, May 29, 2015 at Kavanagh on 56th St. in Des Moines. Darell has been a Carlisle resident for the last 37 years. In past times he had been on the Carlisle Fire and Rescue Dept. and had worked for Signature Air as a plane fueler. Darell was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Bowlin and Dortha Bowlin. Surviving is his daughter, Janice (Darren) Clark of Carlisle; grandchildren, Tyler Clark, Kaitlyn Clark, Nathan Clark and Cassidy Clark; great grand son, Finnley Clark; brothers, Dennis (Judy) Bowlin of Carlisle and Donald (Jane) Bowlin of Des Moines; step mother, Ruth Bowlin and step sister, Barbara Huss. Public Visitation for Darrell will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2015 at the Peterson Funeral Home in Carlisle. Graveside Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 2 , 2015 at the New Virginia Cemetery, conducted by Reverend Cliff Haider of the Carlisle Christian Church.
