Steven G. Pfeifer passed away on November 25, 2015. He was born on April 14, 1947 in Chicago. IL. To Herman and Helen Pfeifer. Steve Married Kathi Piffer on August 18, 1968 in Indianola, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Katherine Manley and godchild, Amberly Deaton. Steve is survived by his wife, Kathi; brothers, Charles and Paul Pfeifer; children, Jennifer (Shawn) Pfeifer-Malaney, Holly (Bill Wilson) Pfeifer and Grant (Amy) Pfeifer; Four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Steve was a graduate of Simpson College, owner and operator of McCoy True Value Hardware and beloved member of the Indianola community. Visitation and Reception for Steve will be Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at the Indianola First United Methodist Church from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Funeral Service at 6:00 p.m. also on Wednesday. A public viewing will take place from 2:00-6:00 p.m. at Peterson Funeral Home at the time of the Visitation.
