Betty Marie Borchert
(March 4, 1925 - January 6, 2016)

Betty Marie (McNair) Borchert passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 6th, 2016 in Indianola, Iowa. Betty was born March 4th, 1925 in Milo, Iowa to Edward and Lois (Ogan) McNair. She lived her adult life in Indianola, Iowa. She worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture (ASCS) for 30 years, retiring in 1986 as the County Executive Director. Betty enjoyed her job working with the farmers of Warren County, and was well known by them. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
Survivors include her daughters, Connie (Seibert) Clark and Valerie (Seibert) Dale (Robert);
grandchildren, Susan (Slye) Halfhill, Katie (Clark) Craft, Christina Dale, Jill Dale, and Nicholas Dale, and 7 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Indianola with visitation from 12:00-1:00 PM prior to services at Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola.
