(June 26, 1930 - July 28, 2017)

Phyllis L. Merryfield, 87, passed away on July 28, 2017 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Lorraine was a long time employee for the State of Iowa. Visitation will be held Monday, July 31, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Cremation will follow the visitation and no other services are planned. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F.; daughter, Janet Cohoon; one brother and one sister. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Garry) Vanderlinden of Des Moines; 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Memorials in Lorraine’s name may be directed to the family.
