C. Keith Fisher
(September 4, 1933 - August 11, 2017)

C Keith Fisher, 83 of Indianola passed away in his home on Friday, August 11, 2017. Keith was born to Clarence H. and Mildred (Hite) Fisher on September 4, 1933 in Belle Plaine, Iowa. Keith graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 1951 and was drafted into the Army in 1954. Shortly after, he married Josephine Parker. Keith graduated from Simpson College and received his master’s degree from Drake University where he worked for 25 years before retiring.
Keith and Jo have lived in Indianola since 1962 where they raised three children; Kevin, Dan (Carrie), Kathy (Bruce). He leaves behind four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and two sisters, Kathleen and Karmelita.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the VA Hospital for their superior care. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Urbandale in Keith’s name. This would be greatly appreciated. A memorial visitation will take place at Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola from 10-11 AM on Wednesday, August 16th. A graveside committal will take place after at the IOOF Cemetery in Indianola.
