Jerry Charles Stamper, 76, passed away August 13, 2017 at Taylor house surrounded by his loving family.A friends and family visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Peterson Funeral Home in Carlisle.
Jerry was born August 20th, 1940 in Des Moines, IA. He retired after 51 years of driving trucks. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially grandchildren and great grandchildren.
His Interests included
loving to grill and smoke meats, playing bingo and going to the casino.Jerry is survived by his wife Marcia Stamper; children, David Stamper, Laurie Johnson (Justin ); siblings, Jim(Paulette)Stamper, Larry (Doreen)Stevens and Susan Zepeda; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Anna Stamper and son Jeff Stamper.
