Janet Squier, age 75, passed January 1, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa following declining health. A long time Carlisle resident, Janet had been a teller at the local Savings and Loan. Janet was a member of the Carlisle United Methodist Church. Preceding in death were her parents; husband Donald in 1990. Surviving are her children, Donna Marie Bagley (Chuck) of Hartford, Denise Kay Jeanblanc of Urbandale, David Lee Squier (Jackie) of Lacona; eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Jane Tauchen and Ronald Stillinger. Visitation for friends and family will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2013, at Peterson Funeral Home in Carlisle, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday January 5, 2013 at Peterson Funeral Home in Carlisle with burial following in the Carlisle City Cemetery.
