Jake “Jake” Tugel passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 7, 2013, at the Carlisle United Methodist Church with burial to follow at the Carlisle Cemetery. Visitation with family will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday evening, at the Carlisle United Methodist Church. Jake was born on September 25, 1946, in Atlantic, Iowa, to Carl and Freda (Antisdel) Tugel. Jake was employed for 26 years in the tire supplies and equipment business. His most recent position was with Hanco Corporation. Jake is survived by his wife, Vicky of Carlisle; son, Derek Tugel of West Des Moines; and a brother, Terry Tugel of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
