Mrs. Alice M. Hansen, age 84, passed away at home on February, 28, 2010. Alice was born in Carlisle and remained a lifelong Carlisle resident. Along with her husband Bill, she raised three sons-Andy, Jim and Perry. For many years she held memberships in the O.N.O club, Carlisle American Legion Auxiliary, Ackworth Garden Club and Carlisle United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be on Friday, March 5, 2010, at Peterson's funeral home, 415 School St. beginning at 11 a.m. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday and a luncheon will follow at the family life center. Alice was preceded by her parents, Elmer and Maude Kibbey. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Bill; two sons, Andy (Cindy) Hansen of Dubuque, IA., Jim (Diane) Hansen of Toddville, IA. Perry Hansen of Plano, TX. and four grandchildren, Eric, David, Katie and Brittany. The family would like any memorials to be considered going to the Carlisle Library, the Randleman House or Carlisle American Legion Auxiliary. Peterson Funeral Home Carlisle, Iowa
