Margaret passed away July 27, 2014 at her home in Carlisle, Iowa. Family visitation for Margaret will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Peterson Funeral Home in Carlisle, Iowa. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the Carlisle Christian Church. Interment will be at the Carlisle City Cemetery with a luncheon following at the Carlisle Christian Church. Margaret is survived by her children, daughter Lacresa Lee of Des Moines, son Eric Cross of Des Moines, daughter Carmela Cross of Carlisle, Iowa, daughter Deanna Cross of Colfax, daughter Robin (Randy) Barnes of Carlisle; sister Diana Rush of Lubbock Texas; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Charles Cross, granddaughter Jennifer Sue Peacock, brothers Eugene and Ronald Green.
