(August 21, 1929 - February 27, 2017)

Services for A. Darlene Davison, 87, who passed away Monday, Feb. 27, 2017, at home in Indianola, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 3, at Overton Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Alice Darlene Davison was born Aug. 21, 1929, to Winfred C. and Ruby Josephine (Headrick) Beltz in Warren County, Iowa. She was a lifelong resident of the Indianola area. Darlene graduated from Indianola High School in 1947 and on Aug. 28, 1948, she was united in marriage to Vern Davison at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. To this union a son Lester was born on March 24, 1951. Darlene worked as a senior clerk in the engineering department for U.S. West Telephone Company and was a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church and the Warren County Historical Society in Indianola. She was also a member of the Osceola Eagles Auxiliary. Survivors include her aunt, Janet Beltz and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Vern in 1995 and her son Lester in 1997.
