Jackie Raymond Repplinger, Sr.
(August 15, 1939 - March 20, 2017)

Memorial services for Jackie Raymond Repplinger Sr., 77, who passed away Monday, March 20, 2017, will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, March 25 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Indianola. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
Jackie R Repplinger, son of DR (Rip) and Maxine (Knouse) Repplinger was born on August 15, 1939 in Indianola Iowa. On March 20, 2017, Jack joined his family in heaven. Jack graduated from Indianola High school in May 1957 and married Mary Moore on July 14, 1957. They had 3 sons Jack Jr , David and Jim. Jack was involved in all of his sons activities, coaching sports, helping with music performances and role of proud parent. Jack was a member of the JC's and was a Mason. As a teen he worked at Hicks Body Shop in Indianola and joined the Army Reserve. Jack later became co-owner of Hicks Body shop as well as serving on the Indianola Police Force. He was offered an opportunity to join Allied Insurance of Des Moines where he worked for many years. He joined with Cal Farm in 1995 in Sacramento California. Upon retirement from Cal Farm, Jack and Mary spent winters in Yuma Az and summers in Des Moines, Iowa. Jack loved football and baseball but was happiest when camping and riding motorcycles throughout the U.S. with his wife Mary.
Jack leaves his wife of 59 years, Mary; sons, Jack and wife Barb, David and husband Don, James and wife Jenny; and the great loves of his life, his grandchildren: Coree Repplinger, Renae Carlson and husband Sam, Regan Covington and husband Brian and Jaclyn Repplinger. Jack was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Beverly Kellar and Jeanie Frank. Born: August 15, 1939, Place of Birth: Indianola, IA United States,Death: March 20, 2017
