Mrs. S. A. Bennum [Blanche O. Bennum]
Mrs. S. A. Bennum, of Coffey, Missouri, daughter of L. D. Bailey, of this city, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Seth F. Shenton at noon, Tuesday, December 23rd following a ten days illness with pneumonia. Brief funeral services were conducted by Rev. Fred N. Willis at the Shenton home early Wednesday morning and the body was taken to Bethany, Missouri. L. D. Bailey, of this city, Miss Edna J. Bailey and G. R. Bailey, of Des Moines, with the husband and three daughters made up the funeral party. The funeral services were held in the Methodist church at Coffey, Thursday, with burial in the Coffey cemetery.
