Obituary
Frank G. Wilson was born in Cass county, Illinois, on Nov. 8, 1863, and moved to Warren county, Iowa with his parents in 1867. He was married on Aug 11, 1890, to Miss Lucinda E. Silcott, who died Dec. 17, 1894. Of this union, three children were born: Chester, who died in infancy, and a son and daughter. Rex and Mary who still survive to mourn the loss of those who have passed into the great beyond. He first united with the Presbyterian church of Indianola, but a few years afterwards he, with his brother and parents, were charter members of the Milo Presbyterian church. When the family removed to Indianola in 1909, he was again received into the local Presbyterian church. His health had been impaired for a number of years, but it was not until 1908 that he was forced to retire from active business. The serious sickness which resulted in his death commenced in August 1909, and with the exception of one week in October he was confined to the house the past six months, some times suffering acute pain, but nearly always hopeful and cheerful. He was a true friend, a faithful Christian and consistent member of the church. His earthly life closed on Sunday, March 13, 1910, but “He being dead yet speaketh.”
