INDIANOLA, IA.- Jo L. Wood, 84, of Indianola died of a heart ailment Tuesday at Indianola Good Samaritan Center, where she had been a resident four months. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Overton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Indianola IOOF Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Wood was born in Chariton and lived in Indianola most of her life. She formerly was a nurse's aide at the Good Samaritan Center for more than 10 years.

Survivors include a son, Jerry of Bellevue, wash.; a sister, Jackie Woodyard of Indianola; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Winifred Law Opportunity Center. ~ The Des Moines Register, Des Moines, Iowa Fri 16 Aug 1991.
