Obituary – Guy Leo Robinson
Guy Leo, son of James and Stella Robinson, was born March 4, 1900, in Monroe County near Albia, Iowa and departed this life February 7, 1956 in the Mercy Hospital, Des Moines, Iowa. At the age of 18, Guy moved with his parents to a farm east of Milo. Most of his life was lived in Warren County and the past few years he has lived in north east Milo. He was united in marriage to Flo Roe, July 10, 1920 and to this union five children were born: Ruby, James, Karma, Kay and Max. After being associated for some years in various businesses, ne became a buyer of live stock, and was known far and near. Among his many friends and business acquaintances, he was noted for his honesty, integrity and fair dealings. After a normal days work he became seriously ill and was rushed to the hospital where the best of medical aid and care was given, but within a few hours the Master called and he departed to the Great Beyond. Besides his devoted wife he is survived by his son James of Perry, Iowa, daughter, Karma of Des Moines, Kay and Max at home, Ruby having preceeded him in death 22 years ago at the age of 13, also surviving are his daughter-in-law, Phyllis and granddaughters Judy and Natalie. His father preceded him in death July 13, 1921. Others of the family surviving are his mother, Mrs. Robinson of Indianola, his sisters, Ruth Ditzler of Grinell, Leona Finberg and Frances Dowd of Des Moines, Pearl Clark of Wellman, Pauline Furnal of Hartford and his brother Dee Robinson of Des Moines and a host of other relatives and friends.
