Velette Schee Goode
Velette Goode was born January 16, 1872, the daughter of Nathan and Sarah Alexander Schee. In1890 she married John Wilbur Goode, who died in 1901. The family included two daughters, Nathalia and Rosetta, who died in childhood, and two sons, Leroy and Walton. Her brother and sister, Mr. O. F. Schee and Mrs. Eleanor Huston survive her, as do her grand children, Robert and Richard Goods, and Eleanor Good Miller, her great grand children, Susie and Jinnie Goode and David Miller. Mrs. Goode, since 1910, has made her home at Winfield, Kansas, where she died at the age of 84 years, and 7 days on January 23, 1956.
