Charles Lucas who lived with his mother on a farm near Medora went to the field Monday morning after a load of fodder and as was his custom, took his gun along. He did not return for dinner which caused the family to fear something had happened. A search was instituted and he was found in the field a short distance from his team, dead, the gun in some way having been accidentally discharged. The funeral was held yesterday.
