(April 11, 1925 - August 23, 2008)

Services for Mildred M. Miller, 83, who died Saturday,August 23, 2008 at Mercy, Hospice in
Johnston, will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 26, at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Mildred was born in Indianola were she was a lifelong resident, a homemaker and had worked as a cook, babysitter and did laundry for several Indianola families. She enjoyed quilting and bingo.
She is survived by a son Timmy and wife Ann of Milo, two brothers Harvey and Jerry Nicholson both of Indianola, three sisters Martha Crook, Phyllis Curnes and Linda Miller all of Indianola, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. S h e was preceded in death by a son, Frank.
Visitation will be held 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, August 25 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola where family will be present to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be given to Chapel of Faith Church. [Copied from a scrapbook at the Warren County Historical Society]
