Services for Carol Louise (Anthony) Davey, 78, who passed away Monday, August 31, 2015 at Good Samaritan Care Center, will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 5 at the First Baptist Church 200 East 1st Ave. in Indianola with burial following in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Cemetery
Carol was born on December 16, 1936 in Des Moines, IA, to William and Eloise Anthony. She attended Norwalk High School, worked for the Indianola Community School District and later cared for her grandchildren. Once her grandchildren entered school, Carol was employed with the Principal Financial Group where she worked until retirement.
Carol is survived by her husband of 61 years, Glenn; children, Diane (Marvin) Jones, Charles (Sally) Davey, Larry (Jennifer) Davey, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and one brother, Robert Anthony.
Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 4 at the First Baptist Church where family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
