Patricia Cateron passed away July 16, 2011 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.

She grew up in Des Moines and graduated from Lincoln High School. Following her education she worked at Northwestern Bell in the accounting department, and then moved to be an engineering clerk. She was a very active member of the Pioneer Club, and was very involved in the Fort Des Moines Methodist Church and Freedom Church. Patricia loved traveling, including her winter trips to Yuma, Arizona. She enjoyed all sorts of Crafting, but most of all spending time with her family. She was one of the most benevolent people you would meet.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Warren Cateron; sister, Anna Mayer; brother, Jim Sullivan; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her son, Paul; parents, Bessie and C. J. Sullivan; and her sisters, Mickey Burget and Nancey Baker.

A memorial service will be held Friday, July 22, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Valley View Village, 2571 Guthrie Avenue, Des Moines.

Memorial contributions may be made to Freedom Church of Des Moines in loving memory of Patricia.
