Obituary from The Record-Herald and Indianola Tribune newspaper, Indianola, Warren County, Iowa, USA on 6-26-1991:

Frances Delitha Snuggs, 69, of Lucas died of cancer Monday in Beaumont, Texas. Services were held June 21 at Norwood United Methodist Church, with burial at Indianola IOOF Cemetery.

Mrs. Snuggs, a retired teacher, was born in Lacona and lived in Lucas about 40 years. She was a member of the Lucas County Retired Teachers Association and the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester, in 1982.

Survivors include a son, Larry of Lacona; a daughter, Linda Carnaham of Beaumont; and five grandchildren.

Mosher Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to her church or the American Cancer Society.
