Marie Florence Dittmer, 86, of Denver, Colo., formerly of this area, died of a heart ailment Wednesday, July 9, 1997, in Denver. Services were held July 16 at St. Elizabeth Chapel there, with burial at Cedaredge Cemetery.

Mrs. Dittmer was born in Lucas County. She had lived in Lucas and Warren Counties most of her life. She was a farm homemaker and Altar and Rosary Society member.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur, in 1981.

Survivors include three sons, Wayne of Denver, Edwin of Cedaredge, Colo., and Neil of Littleton, Colo.; two daughters, Genevieve Hofsetz of Denver and Joy Dittmer of Portland, Ore.; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Anna Mae Selders of Denver, Catherine Relation and Dorothy Panther, both of Waterloo.
