Obituary from The Des Moines Register newspaper, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, USA on 4-6-1998:

Marion Steven Jordan, 92, of Pleasantville died of Pneumonia Thursday at Knoxville Area Community Hospital. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville, with burial at Lincoln Cemetery near there.

Mr. Jordan, a lifelong Marion County resident, was a farmer. He was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Pleasantville and the Marion County Farm Bureau.

Surviving are his wife, Clara; a son, Paul of Pleasantville; a sister, Ruby Newton of Knoxville; a brother, Elmer of Pleasantville; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to his church or the Pleasantville or Knoxville Fire and Rescue units. Mr. Jordan's place of residence was incorrect in a previous obituary.
