Obituary from The Des Moines Register newspaper, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, USA on 8-29-2002:

Clifford Lee Jones, 66, of Norwalk died of complications of diabetes Monday at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Grace Church, 4200 East 25th St., Des Moines. Burial will be at Independent Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery in Indianola.

Pastor Jones was born in Holton, Kan., and had lived in Altoona 18 years before moving to Norwalk 1 1/2 years ago, He enjoyed gospel music and ministering at area nursing homes.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry; a son, Rob of Norwalk; two daughters, Michele Overton of Waukee and Danielle Senecaut of New Virginia; and nine grandchildren.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Fellowship Community Church in Norwalk.
