Obituary from an unknown newspaper, date unknown, scanned from an Obituary Book at the City Library in Indianola, Warren County, Iowa, USA:

Mildred Frances Hervey, 95, of Norwalk died of a respiratory ailment Monday at Regency Care Center there. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Mosher Funeral Home in Milo, with burial at Liberty Center Cemetery in Liberty Center.

Mrs. Hervey was born in New Virginia and had lived in Liberty Center and Indianola before moving to Norwalk five years ago. She had worked for Look magazine and been a cook with the Milo school system and Simpson College. She was a member of Milo United Methodist Church in Milo and Rebekah Lodge, Odd Fellows and American Legion Auxiliary, all in Indianola. She enjoyed flower gardening and raising chickens.

She is survived by two sons, Jerry of Blue Springs, Mo., and Richard of Norwalk; two daughters, Donna Jean of Shoshone, Idaho, and Jane Wadle of Indianola; 13 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
