Memorial services for Homer F. Howe, 85, who died Monday, January 9, 2006, will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 13, 2006, at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial of cremains will be held at a later date in the Belmont Cemetery near Milo, Iowa.

Surviving are his wife Jean of Indianola; brother, Charles Howe of Rogers, AR; sister, Ada Stoner of Adel; nephews, Dennis, Kevin, George, Dr. Scott, Col. Dave Howe and Steve Stoner.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 12, at Overton Funeral Home, where family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be given to the Indianola Fire & Rescue Department, Indianola Good Samaritan Center or the First United Methodist Church in Indianola.
