Obituary from an unknown newspaper, date unknown, photographed from an Obituary Book at the City Library in Indianola, Warren County, Iowa, USA:

Doro Olive Hollingsworth, daughter of Charles And Alice Hollingsworth, was born June 14, 1885 near Milo, Ia., and died Oct. 14, 1971 at the Crouse Custodial Home in Indianola, Ia. at the age of 86 years and four months.

She joined the Hammondsburg Christian Church in early life and later transferred to the Milo Christian Union Church.

Feb. 24, 1904, she was united in marriage to James Perry Bales, and to this union one son, Gale was born. She was preceded in death by husband, Oct. 4, 1959.

She is survived by her son, Gale; his wife Lela; one grandson, Leroy, his wife, Edna Mae; one great-grandson, Tommy; one great-granddaughter, Anita; one brother, Elmer of Ottumwa, Ia.; one sister, Ida Jones of Milo; nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
