Obituary from The Record-Herald and Indianola Tribune newspaper, Indianola, Warren County, Iowa, USA on 5-4-1988:

Services for Paul John Hoch, 86, of Lacona, who died of pneumonia Wednesday, April 27, 1988, at Lucas County Memorial Hospital, were held Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Hoch was a lifelong resident of Lucas County. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Catholic Church.

Surviving are his wife, Regina; two sons, Edwin of Des Moines and Johnny of Brooklet, Ga.; three brothers, Henry of Des Moines and Victor and Otto, both of California; a sister, Veronica Rottamacher of Minnesota; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mosher's Funeral Home handled arrangements.
