Wilma O'Neal Whitlow, 79, of Indianola died of a heart ailment Saturday, May 15, 1993, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Services were held May 18, at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola, with burial in Scotch Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Whitlow was born in Warren County and lived in the Indianola area most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Indianola.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland, in 1978.
Survivors include two sons, Wilford O'Neal of Ackworth and Gary O'Neal of Des Moines; a daughter, Jeanette Curnes of Indianola; a brother, Howard Foust of Des Moines; a half brother, William Foust of Indianola; a stepbrother, Carl Van Pelt of Summerset; a sister, Vivian Sorenson of Prole; two half sisters, Helen Moore of Des Moines and Maxine Harpole of Patterson; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
