Gertrude C. Derrough, 93, of Milo died of a heart ailment Friday, Sept. 30, 1994, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Services were held Oct. 4 at Milo Christian Union Church, of which she was a member, with burial at Belmont Cemetery.

Mrs. Derrough was born near Milo and had lived in the area most of her life. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William, in 1970.

Survivors include two sons, Gerald and John, both of Des Moines; a daughter, Rosemary Barton of Des Moines; a sister Carrie Mosher of Ames; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Mosher Funeral Home handled arrangements.
