Obituary from an unknown newspaper on 9-19-1974, photographed from an Obituary Book at the City Library in Indianola, Warren County, Iowa, USA:

Nora Mae McCormick, daughter of Thomas and Mary Edleman, was born Aug. 18, 1881, in Clinton County, Iowa, and died Aug. 2, 1974, at the age of 92 years, 11 months and 15 days.
She was united in marriage to James C. McCormick Feb. 12, 1901. To this union were born eight sons and nine daughters. Preceding her in death were her husband, two daughters, Lueva Alice and Charlotte Luvena, and three sons, Floyd, Wayne and Harland; one brother and one sister.
She is survived by her children, five sons and seven daughters. The sons are: Gerald of Chariton, Thomas of Indianola, Keith of Pleasantville, Kenneth of Lucas and James Junior of Chariton. The daughters are: Beulah (Mrs Leo Krutsinger) of Oakley, Mrs Leola Mikesell of Oakley, Maedene (Mrs Marvin Drake) of Des Moines, Elzora (Mrs Fair Town) of Milo, Eulalia (Mrs Paul Holmquist) of Newton, Lois (Mrs James Akins) of Knoxville, and Dr Adeline McCormick (Mrs Delbert Ohnemus) of Milo. Other survivors include 47 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 5, 1974 at the Fielding Funeral Home in Chariton with the Rev. Clifford Carter of the Norwood United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was at the Chariton Cemetery.

Services for Mrs Nora McCormick, 92, longtime resident of Lucas County, were held this afternoon at the Fielding Funeral Home in Chariton. Burial was in the Chariton Cemetery.
Mrs McCormick died early Friday morning at the home of her daughter, Dr Adeline McCormick (Ohnemus), near Milo, where she had been living the past three weeks.
Survivors include seven daughters, Mrs Beulah Krutzinger and Mrs Leola Mickesell of Oakley, Mrs Naedene Drake of Des Moines, Mrs Elzora Town and Dr McCormick of Milo, and Mrs Eulalia Holmquist of Newton; five sons, Gerald McCormick and James McCormick jr of Chariton, Thomas McCormick of Indianola, Keith McCormick of Pleasantville and Kenneth McCormick of Lucas; 47 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren and three great-great-granddaughters.
