Obituary from The Record-Herald and Indianola Tribune newspaper, Indianola, Warren County, Iowa, USA on 10-29-1986:

Millard Daniel Alexander, 86, of Milo died of emphysema Saturday, Oct. 25, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines. Services were held Monday, Oct. 27, at Mosher Funeral Home in Milo with burial in the Indianola IOOF Cemetery.

Mr. Alexander was born in Lucas County and lived in Milo since 1938. He was a retired farmer and truck driver. He was also a 50-year member of the Milo Masonic Lodge No. 409 and the Order of the Eastern Star.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda; his daughter, Marilyn; son-in-law, Dee Cambron; one granddaughter; on great-grandson; and two brothers.

Survivors include two sons, Bill of St. Louis, Mo., and Bob of Seymour; a brother, Merlin of Polk City; a sister, Florence Maxwell of Des Moines; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Milo Masonic Lodge No. 409.
