Obituary from The Record-Herald and Indianola Tribune newspaper, Indianola, Warren County, Iowa, USA on 6-26-1972:

Funeral services for Roscoe E. Hutt, 73, retired carpenter, were held this afternoon at the Overton Funeral Home. Interment was in the Indianola IOOF Cemetery.

Mr. Hutt died at his home, 705 N. First St., Friday morning after a long illness.

He was a resident of Warren and Madison Counties most of his life and had lived in Indianola since 1941. He was a veteran of World War I.

Survivors include his wife, Vera; five sons, Floy, Donald and Larry of Indianola, Ivyl and Bob of Des Moines; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Thelma Hutt of Indianola; 11 grandchildren; a brother, Orlin Hutt of Shenandoah; and two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Stuart of Indianola and Mrs. Floy Felton of New Virginia.
