Howard Dave Bishop, 98, of Chariton passed away Monday, October 22, 2012 at the Corydon Nursing and Rehab Center. Services will be Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. Interment will be at the Cochran Cemetery near Lacona. Family will receive friends Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. Memorials are requested to the Chariton Senior Citizens Center. Howard is survived by his children: John (Linda) Bishop of Spokane, WA, Diane (Cork) Musick of Chariton, IA, Carol Bishop of Indianola, IA; daughter-in-law Sheryl Plate of Prairie City, IA; ten grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are siblings: Jean Chipp of Lucas, Shirley (Keith) Kent of Lucas, and Bouncer (Pat) Bishop of Ottumwa.
