Services for Mary Willis Schneider, 87, will be Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Lacona. Family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Cochran Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Lacona Public Library. Mary passed away September 13, 2012 at Trinity Center at Luther Park in Des Moines at the age of 87 from complications of Alzheimer's disease. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Harold in April of 2000; 2-year-old brother Benjamin James Willis; and brother-in-law Lane Miller. Her siblings survive Mary: Robert P. (Vivian) Willis of Des Moines, Elaine Miller of Ocean Shores, Washington, Alfred Willis of Lacona, and Richard (Jeanie) Willis of Hanska, Minnesota. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
