Claude Warren Bishop, 90, passed away at home on Monday, June 25, 2012. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 12 p.m. at Norwalk Christian Church, with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Warren was born to Claude and Lenore Bishop on March 31, 1922 at his grandmother’s house in Norwalk. He served his country with the US Army during WW II and returned to continue work in the trucking industry. He started Bishop Trucking in 1946 and retired after more than 40 years. Warren was one of the original volunteer firemen in Norwalk, a member of Norwalk American Legion, and was one of the oldest members of Norwalk Christian Church.

He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Marilyn; daughters, Dellaine Spencer (Tony), and Bobbie Bishop (Doug Smuck); his grandsons, Michael Spencer (Erica Shehan), Chad Spencer (Ann Noel), Ben Spencer (Kelly); great-grandchildren, Kate, Maddie, Max, Finn, Will, and Sarah Beth.
