“Scotch Ridge”

“A large number of Scotch Ridge people attended te funeral of Ed Grant which was held at the Thomas funeral home in Carlisle Sunday afternoon. Interment was in the Scotch Ridge cemetery.”

“Carlisle”

“Ed Grant passed away Friday evening at his home southwest of Carlisle after several months’ illness. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Thomas Funeral home conducted by the Rev. A. J. McConnell, pastor of the Scotch Ridge United Presbyterian church. Interment was made in the Scotch Ridge cemetery. Mr. Grant was sixty five years of age and had lived on his farm near Carlisle for a number of years. He is survived by his widow and one son, Edwin Grant, and several brothers.”
