Obituary for James Byron Hall

James Byron Hall was born in Allegheny County, PA, March 7, 1874 and died June 18, 1945. In 1876 the family moved to a farm south of Milo and Mr. Hall and his family lived on this farm until two years ago when they moved into Milo. Aug. 16, 1904, he was married to Margaret Jane Glenn.

Mr. Hall was a member of the United Presbyterian church of Indianola until a few years ago. He was an active member of the Odd Fellows lodge and he had been active in the Masonic lodge since a young man.

Surviving are his wife, and three daughters, Miss Mildred Hall and Miss Ruth Hall of Des Moines, and Mrs. Clifford Ott of Libertyville; one granddaughter, Frances Ott; and two sisters, Mrs. Frank S. Maybury of Indianola and Mrs. Laura Hall Leftwich of Inglewood, California, three brothers, John W. Hall of Fresno, Calif.; W.
Warren Hall of Inglewood and Paul R. Hall of Alhambra, Calif.

Services were held Thursday, June 21, at the United Presbyterian church in Indianola, in charge of the pastor, the Rev. W. J. Teeuwissen jr., assisted by Dr. C. N. Burrows. Interment was at Milo.

Out-of-town friends and relatives who attended the services included Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Glenn, G. S. Glenn, Mr. and Mrs. Emmet Glenn, J. H. Glenn, Mrs. Emmet Glenn, J. H. Glenn, Mrs. Madge Reish, Mrs. Carl South, Mrs. Edna Lamb, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Twombley, all of Osceola; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Ott of Boxholm; Chet Viers and Dr. Stanley W. Dusdieker of Des Moines.
