Homer Howard Milleson, age 72, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2007 in Odessa, Texas. He was born April 16, 1934 in Milo to Homer Russell and Ann Elizabeth (Cross) Milleson.
He graduated from Milo High School where he played baseball. He married Shirley Jean Anderson and they were blessed with 4 children: Lisa, Jay, Matthew, and Josh. Howard served in the Air Force from 1955 to 1958. He worked for Monroe Systems Business for 37 years repairing copy and adding machines. He started this job in Des Moines and moved to New Mexico and then Odessa, Texas in 1963 where they made their home.
Howard enjoyed bowling, country western dancing with friends, he enjoyed time at home, and also enjoyed bringing his family back to Iowa to Milo and Grand Junction for 2 weeks during the summers.
He is survived his children: Lisa Haenelt of Odessa, Jay of Amarillo, Matthew of Dallas, TX, and Josh of Oklahoma City, OK; siblings: Nina Lawler, Martha Graham, and Frances Dollison all of Indianola and Mary Belle Putz of Milo.
His parents, and his wife Shirley precede him in death.

Funeral services for Howard Milleson, 72, will be Friday, March 23, at 10:30 a.m. at the Milo Christian Union Church. Burial will be in the Belmont Cemetery. No visitation is planned.
He is survived by his children: Jay of Amarillo, Matthew of Dallas, TX, Josh of Oklahoma City, OK; and Lisa of Odessa; and his siblings: Nina Lawler, Martha Graham, and Frances Dollison all of Indianola and Mary Belle Putz of Milo.
