LEONARD GRAHAM, Norwalk

Leonard John Graham, 82, of Norwalk died of a respiratory ailment Tuesday at home. Services will be at 10.30 a.m. Friday at St. John's Catholic Church in Cumming, of which he was a member, with burial at the church cemetery.

Mr. Graham was born in Cumming and had lived in rural Norwalk most of his life. He was a farmer and also had worked for Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. He was a member of Farm Bureau and local union No. 310 and had served as president of the Cumming school board.

He is survived by his wife, Mary, six sons, Jack, Tom, Don, Den and Chuck, all of Norwalk, and Ron of Des Moines; four daughters, Marilyn Jones, Teresa Brentano and Lisa Gordon, all of Norwalk, and Annette Newman of Milan, Ill.; six sisters, Irene Schrodt of Des Moines, Jane Wilkins and Marcella Weddingfeld, both of Denver, Colo., Pauline Lussem of Aberdeen, S.D., Teresa Bussanmas of Norwalk, and Joann Thornburg of Little Rock, Ark.; a brother, Jim of West Des Moines, 25 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m., today at St. John's Hall in Cumming, where a prayer service wil be held at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to Norwalk Fire Fighters Association. Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola is handling arrangements.
