Clinton J. Peirce Taken by Death

Norwalk, Oct. 14 -- The funeral of Clinton J. Peirce was held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the B.F. Galloway Funeral Home, with the Rev. Marvin O. Sansbury, pastor of the University Church of Christ, Des Moines, officiating, and assisting him was the Rev. A.N. Simpson. Interment was in the Webb Cemetery.

Mr. Peirce, 61, passed away Wednesday at the Iowa Lutheran Hospital, Des Moines.

Mrs. Peirce before her marriage was Hephzibah Lockridge and she, with her husband, lived for many years on the old Lockridge farm south of Norwalk.

They had lived in Des Moines about eight months before his death.
