TODD, MADISON, farmer, Jefferson Township, Sec. 22; P. O. Jefferson, was born in Morgan county, Illinois, January 13, 1834, and lived there till twenty years of age, then with his brother, now the Rev. J. W. Todd, deceased, who died at Winterset, Iowa, June 21, 1879, came to Warren county, and settled in Jefferson township, in September, 1853; was married to Miss Susan E. Walker, September 6, 1856, a native of indiana; have a family of one son and four daughters, living: Anna E., Clara E., Charles E., Lucy M., and Mary L.; was justice of the peace eight years and township assessor for a number of years; during the year of 1864 he was through the western territories; owns a farm of 125 acres.
