SPRAY, HORACE J., Indianola, county clerk; was born in Dark county, Ohio, December 29, 1852, and came to this county with his parents in 1854, and was raised and educated in this county; he held the office of deputy clerk from 1871, until his election as county clerk in 1878; he married Miss Lillie Armstrong in 1879; she was born in Switzerland county, Indiana.
