SEEVERS, GEORGE W., Indianola, attorney; was born in Coshocton county, Ohio, in 1843, and lived there until the removal of his parents to Mahaska county, Iowa, in 1853; he was educated at Oskaloosa, and at the State University, Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he took an optional course of study, and graduated in the law department; he was admitted to the bar in Detroit, Michigan, in 1864, to practice in all of the State and Federal Courts; he came to this county in 1868, and became associated with P. Gad Bryan in the practice of his profession; and has been in continuous practice since that time; he married Miss Mary L. Bryan, in 1867; she was born in Illinois; their family consists of four children: Paul B., Mayo, Robert Dale and Pgad.
