METCALF, HIRAM T., Indianola, grocer; was born in Ohio in the year 1842; when about two years old his parents emigrated to the State of Illinois, where he remained till he came to this county in the fall of 1858; he was married April 16, 1868, to Miss Mabel Woodruff, a native of Tennessee; his occupation during life has been in the mercantile line.
