HOWE, WILLIAM L., farmer, White Oak Township, Sec. 35, P. O. Sharon; was born in Clinton county, Ohio, January 30, 1833, and was raised there; he came to this State, in 1853, and settled in this county; owns eighty acres of land, well improved, in good state of cultivation; he married Miss Alice Derrough, December 26, 1861, she was a native of Brown county, Ohio; they have two children: Mary M. and Nancy.
